Intentionally chosen toy purchases shape the world of our children today & tomorrow. Today, as our children make joyful memories, and tomorrow, as intentional, sustainable choices for the earth, and exposure to varied play based learning experiences set our children up for big, bright futures.
Why does this mean so much to us personally? We have a young, impressionable boy who inspires us to do better every day. Like any parent, we want to give him the best childhood possible.

meet the founders
Hi, we're Logan & Natasha! We founded Timber Towns & Co after we went to buy wooden road tracks for our son and couldn't find a set that 'ticked all the boxes'. Logan is a carpenter by trade, and Natasha is a building designer with her own successful company, so it was a natural fit to re-purpose those skills into designing and making construction-related toys!

about the design of the road tracks
Our ideal road tracks had to be easy for small hands to use and stay firmly connected during play. We chose Australian plywood for it's strength & rigidity, and carefully designed unique arrowed double connectors that slip together neatly. Bonus: The directional arrows are educational!
We were surprised to find that even leading wooden train tracks suppliers around the world have limited road options that connect with train tracks. Not to worry, we've created level rail crossings & bridges to solve this problem!
Our little people love to mimic the world that surrounds them. Their imaginations run wild, when given the chance! We've carefully designed our sets to allow for many varied configurations, and we've gone one step further with our 'Build Your Own Box' option, so you can create your ultimate set.
We both loved creating mega toy towns as kids. The buildings and roads we've created are exactly what we dreamed of! To keep your small world as open-ended as possible, our buildings can also be used separate to the road tracks.
Turns out, it's pretty hard to find Aussie made wooden car tracks... We're excited to be able say that Timber Towns are 100% Australian made (in Townsville, Queensland), from FSC certified, sustainably sourced Australian hoop pine plywood.
