The first Timber Towns road set made was the gift we couldn't we buy. We wanted our son to have a wooden road set modelled on Aussie roads and built to last. Solid Australian plywood, cut, sanded and packed by hand in Townsville, Queensland. Nothing printed, nothing painted, no nasties. The kind of toy that gets played with for years, and then handed down to the next generation of little ones.

Solid Australian E0 plywood. Not printed fibreboard, and never painted or varnished (although you can apply any food-grade oil to seal them, if you wish). FSC certified and sustainably sourced. All plywood we use has a strict E0 emission rating.
Yes. Our arrow-lock connectors are designed to click together easily and stay joined during play, even on carpet. EVEN on thick carpet, like Mellow Mat and equivalent brands.
